eBay Continues to Ask Their Sellers to Sign Up for New Payment System

eBay continues to push their sellers to change how they receive payments. eBay’s intent is to move majority of sellers to their own payment system by the end of the year. Emails going out to ebay sellers encouranging to switch before the deadline. If you have been using Paypal, you will have to register for this new system in order to get paid after the final switch. eBay promises that most sellers will notice the savings of using new system. Once activated for managed payments, seller will pay a final value fee, consisting of a category-based percentage of the total amount of the sale, plus a $0.30 fixed fee per order. Final value fee will be automatically deducted from your sales proceeds. Sellers will not pay payments processing fees to PayPal.
Funds will be disbursed to your bank account with 2 days. To register sellers will need their Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN), bank account info and other information.
